STC seeks a strategic and dynamic leader to oversee development functions as its Director of Development (DD). Reporting to the Chief Operations and Development Officer (CODO) and working closely with the Executive Chairman (EC) & local Executive Directors (EDs), you will be charged with establishing a compelling strategy for fundraising at STC and for leading national and supporting regional fundraising efforts in order to achieve ambitious development goals. You will build and strengthen partnerships with STC’s current donors, own STC’s annual revenue goal, and partner with senior leaders on new initiatives.

This is an ideal opportunity for an exceptional leader with a strong passion for advancing innovation in urban education and a deep commitment to developing resources to support this important work. S/he must be able to set and achieve strategic goals, pay attention to both the big picture and details, effectively communicate and cultivate relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, and be highly motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

STC seeks volunteers for varying needs, including web development, administration, communications, marketing, pr, and programming. STC also seeks volunteers with marketing and public relations experience to help create awareness of STC schools in their respective communities. This is an exciting opportunity for people who are looking to make a difference by creating awareness about the high-performing inner-city schools that exist in their own communities.
