MANAGER OF MAKER PROGRAMS, STC NYC

STC NYC is looking for a full-time Manager of Maker Programs. This individual will work closely with STC NYC’s Executive Director to lead various maker programs with K-12 schools and community partners, including iterations of the STC Maker Fellows Program. Run in partnership MakerState, an organization that runs afterschool STEM makerspaces across NYC schools, the STC Maker Fellows program trains and supports full-time STC teachers in facilitating STEM and CS-rich makerspaces in their schools. In addition to leading maker programs, this individual will help build relationships with and support our network of K-12 district, charter, and independent schools by sharing resources and connecting our schools with opportunities for their students and/or staff.  

This is an ideal opportunity for a leader with exceptional project management skills and a strong passion for advancing innovation in urban education, specifically in NYC. S/he must be detail oriented, extremely responsive, highly motivated, knowledgeable about the NYC education landscape and STEM and maker education innovations, and able to work both independently and with a wide range of stakeholders/individuals.

MANAGER OF SCHOOL PROGRAMS, STC NEWARK

STC Newark is looking for a part-time Manager of School Programs. This individual will work closely with STC Newark’s Executive Director to maintain our network of K-12 district, charter, and independent schools plus assist in leading various programs increasing real-world learning across our network.

This is an ideal opportunity for an exceptional leader with a strong passion for advancing innovation in urban education, specifically in Newark. S/he will be responsible for maintaining our network of district, charter, and independent K-12 schools in addition to supporting the successful implementation of several programs. S/he must be detail oriented, extremely responsive, highly motivated, knowledgeable about the Newark education landscape, and able to work both independently and with a wide range of stakeholders/individuals.
