Michael Druckman

MICHAEL DRUCKMAN is the Board Chair and CEO of Schools That Can which he helped develop in 2004. His interest in urban education began in 2001 when he became involved with helping to save a high-performing school in East New York, Brooklyn, the Trey Whitfield School. The school now ranks as one of the best middle schools in New York State. He has been Board Chair of the school since 2004. He built on his experience with Trey Whitfield to provide the leadership for Schools That Can. Currently he is Chairman of the Board of a consumer products fulfillment company and previously was CEO of Mobilia Group LLC, an international home furnishings marketing and manufacturing company which he started in 1978. He holds degrees in European Studies and an MBA from Columbia University and resides in New York City.
