Ryan Oliver

Ryan Oliver is an STC Boston Regional Council Co-Chair and an educational consultant for SchoolWorks. He taught Humanities and Social Studies for the past 11 years, serving as a teacher leader, creating curricula, and developing service learning programs at a pilot school in Boston, an independent school in Watsonville, CA, and a charter school in Pittsburgh, PA. While in Pittsburgh, Ryan learned about Schools That Can and participated in City Charter High School's (City High's) successful application to become a member school. He represented City High in a meeting of the Pittsburgh Regional Council this past winter and hopes to assist the growth and development of the regional council in Boston. Ryan holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard College and a Master of Arts in Education from Cal State Monterey Bay.
