Fifth grade students at the Epiphany School in Dorchester, Massachussetts traded away city life for the farm during their first week of school. At the beginning of the school’s 15th year, these scholars lived and worked on a farm in Reading, Vermont as they were emersed in an outdoor classroom setting. Through this partnership with Farms For City Kids, academics were merged into the everyday activities of the farm so that the students can learn more about sustainability.
