Hess is a Resident Scholar and Director of Education Policy at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), and you probably also know him from his column “Rick Hess Straight Up” at Education Week. He will be joining Paul Peterson, Editor-in-Chief at Education Next and Leslie Hiner, VP of Programs and State Relations at The Friedman Foundation in conversation this April at our Forum.
