Roundtables and Study Tours
Roundtables and Study Tours are collaborative assemblies organized and attended by Member and Partner Schools and their local Regional Council in order to improve the outcomes of each school.

Roundtables
Roundtables unite both Member and Partner schools and RC leaders in engaging exchanges over the needs, challenges, and successes of all attending schools. Based on feedback during a Roundtable, a Study Tour is planned to showcase one school’s effective practice(s) deemed to have the most possible positive effect if demonstrated to the other schools.

Study Tours
During a study tour, a host school is visited by other network schools and their local Regional Council to share targeted effective practices and develop collaborative relationships across governance models. Visiting schools have the valuable opportunity to engage on-site with host school leaders in order to gain first hand knowledge of and experience with the operations and community of a local high performing school.
Study tours include time for observation, effective practices workshops and presentations, and focused on-site action planning. Each host school, along with their local RC leadership, chooses one or two effective practices to highlight during the study tour. Visiting schools send a team of administrators and teachers to each study tour. The host school provides valuable coaching and membership to the visiting schools and share the potential challenges of implementing its highlighted effective practices and provides strategies for addressing them. On-site action planning allows the visiting school leaders, along with the help of the host school and local Regional Council, to leave the tour with prepared to enact the desired effective practice(s) at their school.
