STC School Application

Are YOU a School That Can?

“Schools That Can” work to continuously improve and innovate so that their students can fulfill their future potential. Schools That Can are high-performing and high-potential. They have a deep commitment to serve underserved students and communities and have inclusive admissions and retention policies that honor that commitment. Schools that Can have smart, dedicated, humble, and relentless leaders at their helm and foster a safe and supportive school environment for all students. Finally, Schools That Can are committed to collaboration, real-world learning, and continuous improvement.

Schools That Can (STC) connects leaders from these schools – schools from all sectors – to share practices and build solutions to close the opportunity and skills gap.

To join the STC network, schools must first complete the online application below to share information about their enrollment and mission.  Once STC has received the application, a local director or volunteer will schedule a visit to conduct an observation and interview with the leadership team. The STC team will then make a decision about your entire application and send the welcome wagon your way! If you have any questions, please contact Casey Lamb or your local Director.

Work with Schools That Can as an Innovative Partner

In addition to supporting learning and sharing across our network of high performing and high potential schools that serve underserved communities, Schools That Can collaborates with Innovative Partners to advance real world learning in our schools.

Innovative Partners may be edtech startups, out-of-school-time learning providers, or cutting edge schools serving more privileged demographics that are committed to sharing resources and strategies with schools that have fewer resources.

Schools That Can works with Innovative Partners to support collaboration and continuous improvement in and across schools through professional development for teachers and real world learning opportunities for students. If you are interested in becoming an Innovative Partner, please complete the survey below. Someone from the STC team will be in touch shortly thereafter.
