Position Description: STC Chicago seeks an Executive Director (ED) to be responsible for providing leadership, vision, and day-to-day management of local programs and fundraising. The ED reports to the COO and receives support  in fundraising, strategy development, and operations from the national office. S/he also manages the Chicago Director of School Programs (DSP).

This is an ideal opportunity for a visionary leader with a strong passion for advancing innovation in urban education, specifically in Chicago. S/he must be entrepreneurial, detail oriented, extremely responsive, knowledgeable about the Chicago education landscape as well as innovations like maker education and career and technical education, and able to work both independently and with a wide range of stakeholders/individuals.

Additionally, we love to work with undergraduate and graduate interns on summer projects that both support our needs while helping you build knowledge and skills. We currently have needs in research, data analysis, and communications. We are also looking for a Development Intern (click here for job description). Volunteer With Us

STC seeks volunteers for varying needs, including web development, administration, communications, marketing, pr, and programming. STC also seeks volunteers with marketing and public relations experience to help create awareness of STC schools in their respective communities. This is an exciting opportunity for people who are looking to make a difference by creating awareness about the high-performing inner-city schools that exist in their own communities.
