Dr. Beth Bazer is a transformational education leader whose core values include the belief that with support, every student can find their own pathway to success. For seven years, Beth served as an elementary administrator for Chicago Public Schools and prior to that served as a middle school math and reading teacher. Beth has an Ed.D. in Urban Education Leadership from the University of Illinois Chicago, an M.A. in Education from Northwestern University, and a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Indiana University. Her career is a testament to her personal mission of student choice and voice, collaboration and communication, equity of opportunity, and meaningful and authentic work.
Beth is a born and bred Chicago Cubs fan and has been married to her best friend, Adam, for almost 15 years. They have a 6-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter, as well as a Siberian Husky, Archie. She brings to her current role as Executive Director of STC Chicago a deep belief that Chicago is the best city in the U.S. to live and that the mission of STC to empower school leaders, develop teachers and engage students through real-world learning is her most important work.
