Karima Jackson

Karima Jackson is the owner and operator of Exquisite Property Services (EPS), a Newark based property service company dedicated to sustainability and environmental justice. She is a doctoral candidate at the School of Public Affairs and Administration at Rutgers University-Newark with a research focus in administrative law, representative bureaucracy and social/environmental justice. Karima’s research includes quantitative and qualitative design and analysis in such courses as Urban Planning, Study of Public Organizations, Leadership Equity and Diversity, Government Budgeting and Resource Acquisition, Legal Foundations and Public Administration, and Performance Measurement and Management. Karima also teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at Rutgers University-Newark. She is published in the Public Administration Review and Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory. 

Karima started her career in advocacy at the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency (formerly DYFS) before she founded local nonprofit, Organize Change, Inc. Through her work at Organize Change Inc., she has demonstrated a passion and commitment to equity in outcomes through collaboration with local and state government, private corporations, religious and nonprofit organizations, and community residents.
