Joanna Eliasof

Program Manager, Newark

Joanna has always gravitated towards working with youth in the urban setting to help them get the best and equal opportunities. After graduating from the University of Delaware in 2016 with a Bachelors in Clinical Human Services, she worked as an Education Director at the Boys and Girls Club in Wilmington, DE. She moved back to New Jersey to complete her Masters Degree in Public Administration at Rutgers University, Newark, working part time while completing her studies. She worked as a Program Assistant with the Essex County 4H planning and implementing after school and summer enrichment programs for youth in Essex County.  She also worked as a Program Associate at Student/Partner Alliance,  where she helped students in the greater Newark area through the scholarship and mentoring program of the organization. Most recently, Joanna worked as a Senior Corporate Relations Manager at Jersey Cares, planning volunteer opportunities for corporate groups and volunteers. She is excited to take all of the skills that she’s learned through her experiences with students, schools, local businesses, and volunteers to be a part of the Schools That Can team.
