John Dudley is a Husband, Father, U.S. Navy Veteran, Lacrosse Coach and Educator. A lifelong resident of New Jersey, he has various experiences in both the private and public sectors. Currently, he is a Financial Literacy/Economics Teacher for the Newark Board of Education at East Side High School and it’s only Boys Lacrosse Coach in program history. With over 25 years experience in public education, he has seen and been involved with numerous educational strategies and programs in the City of Newark. He has a passion for athletics and has been the primary force behind growing the game of Lacrosse in Newark for over two decades, formerly with Brick City Lacrosse and currently with Den of Lions Lacrosse. John received a Master of Arts in Education Degree from University of Phoenix, studying Administration and Supervision. He also received a Masters level certification from Fairleigh Dickinson University, studying Addictions Counseling and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Kean College of New Jersey (Kean University) with a major in Political Science, minoring in Economics and History. John also served in the United States Navy and attended the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He lives in the area with his wife and two kids.
