Robert F. Kennedy
Urban Education Awards
In honor of Robert F. Kennedy’s legacy, and in partnership with Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, Schools That Can annually presents the Robert F. Kennedy Urban Education Awards to a school leader, teacher, and student from urban schools. Awardees embody Kennedy’s characteristics by speaking truth to power and acting as agents of positive change.
The 6th Annual RFK Urban Education Awards will be presented during a special Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, May 1 in Newark, NJ as a part of the 2019 Forum. Awards will be presented to a student, teacher, and school leader who have worked in their own way to change systems and influence history.
Nominations will be accepted during the month of March 2019. Check back here for updates.
