What’s the coolest part of the STC Career Skills Program, Advanced Manufacturing? What’s your favorite thing you’ve gotten to do?

In my own words, the coolest part about the STC Careers Skills program, Advance Manufacturing, are the projects we do each cycle. Out of the interesting projects we have done so far–the coolest I would say–was the paper roller coasters. It is iconic in our line up of projects. We actually started from an idea and created something.

What inspires you?

There is one thing that always helps me get up in the morning and that would be the thought of my future. Not simply financial security, but every aspect of my next day. “Do more work today so you can do less work tomorrow” is what motivates me.

What do you want to do when you grow up?

At the moment, I do not know exactly what I want to do when I grow up, but I know some degree of college education is involved.

What are you proudest of?

The thing I am proudest of would be my connections and my relationships that I have developed over the years.

What piece of advice would you give to a younger student?

The one piece of advice I would give to a younger student is to really understand your foundation and always move forward.
