Demetrius D. Grimsley, has worked in the manufacturing and machining industry for twenty-five years. He is President and Founder of 7G Design and Manufacturing Company, LLC (7GDM), a small business located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since its inception, 7GDM has offered and provided mechanical engineering, tooling design, computer aided drafting, and manufacturing consulting services in order to help its clients focus product development and meet their production schedules. 7GDM also provides precision machined components made from various metals, metal-alloys, plastics, and composite raw materials. He is a Pennsylvania native, receiving his M.B.A from Robert Morris University, and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Point Park University. He is also a certified Journeyman Tool and Die Machinist and holds professional degrees in computer-aided drafting and design (CADD). During his career, he has gained extensive experience in advanced manufacturing, business management, consulting, and entrepreneurship. Demetrius has a passion for both business and technical disciplines of organizations. As time permits, he enjoys instructing students and apprentices in S.T.E.M topics, and on the many manufacturing processes involved in producing every-day to complex items.
