Nsai Temko

Program Facilitator, Pittsburgh

Nsai Temko is a vivacious presence in the classroom. She graduated as valedictorian of Propel Braddock Hills High School in 2019 and is deeply passionate about learning and sharing knowledge. In High School, Nsai served as the GSA and Engineering clubs’ president. She served on HomeTeam/Student Council as treasurer and worked as a teen writer for Public Source. In addition, she completed the Learn and Earn program at Assemble.

Nsai went on to receive her bachelor’s degree from Emory University. During her time at Emory, Nsai studied Environmental Science and an interdisciplinary approach to the humanities. Nsai wrote her thesis on how to tell stories that bring people closer to each other and closer to the environment.

She recently completed an AmeriCorps term at Tree Pittsburgh, She focused on community engagement, environmental education, and helping out in the heritage tree nursery.

She is excited to be a part of the Schools That Can team and teach students how to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams.
