Norfolk Southern grants $5,000 to Schools That Can Pittsburgh

Schools That Can Pittsburgh is pleased to announce a $5,000 grant from Norfolk Southern, awarded through its Thriving Communities Grant Program. This support will directly benefit STC’s Education-to-Employment (e2e) Career Readiness program, which helps Pittsburgh-area high school students explore and pursue post-secondary pathways that align with both their personal passions and the evolving demands of the job market.

This grant is part of Norfolk Southern’s commitment to strengthening the communities it serves across its 22-state network. Launched in 2023, Norfolk Southern’s grant programs are designed to support organizations working to further the areas of safety, sustainability, workforce development and community resilience.
