STC Pittsburgh Receives Grant from Pittsburgh Child Guidance Foundation

Schools That Can Pittsburgh is pleased to announce a $5,000 grant from the Pittsburgh Child Guidance Foundation. This support will directly benefit STC’s Education-to-Employment (e2e) Career Readiness program, which helps Pittsburgh-area high school students explore and pursue post-secondary pathways that align with both their personal passions and the evolving demands of the job market.

Pittsburgh Child Guidance Foundation’s mission is to improve the emotional health and well-being of children and youth living in Allegheny County by providing grants and collaborating with public and private organizations to implement innovative policies, practices and programs.

To fulfill its mission, the Pittsburgh Child Guidance Foundation collaborates with various nonprofit organizations to support programs and services, conduct research and engage in initiatives that improve the lives of the most vulnerable children and youth in the region.
