Phil Perkins is Executive Director of Chicago based Perkins Malo Hunter Foundation which provides national funding for high quality education programs for disadvantaged kids.  Prior to this, he led marketing, communications and public relations at National Heritage Academies, a national charter network with 80 schools based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Phil has served on the board of Schools That Can since 2007 and was the founding Advisory Board Chair of STC – Chicago.   He is currently a trustee at the Boys & Girls Club of Holland, Michigan and sits on the distribution committee of his local community foundation.  Phil recently won a seat as a trustee of the West Ottawa Public School District where he finished up his term as Board President.  He has a B.A. in Communications from the University of Cincinnati.
