In May 2018, students from five Newark Public Schools presented their community service projects at the Prudential Financial building. STC Newark facilitated logistics of the challenge, where 10 students from each school were given $500 for a community service project of their choosing, and Prudential hosted and sponsored the program.

“I thought it was very helpful. It made me aware of how much work needed to be done. It made me want to be more involved in beautification projects at the school.”

– Hannah  14, an eighth grader at Ridge Street Elementary School whose project focused on school clean-up
