Professional Learning Groups

Our Professional Groups (PLGs) increase the capacity of teachers and leaders to integrate more real-world learning into their schools. Over the course of a year, a cohort of educators gathers regularly to engage in inquiry and improvement cycles to reflect on their practices, test interventions, and make data-informed adjustments. STC staff provides additional coaching, resources, and trainings as appropriate. All of our STC cities run a Real-World Learning PLG that uses our Rubric as a tool for reflection and improvement. Several cities also run supplemental PLGs based on relevant needs indicated by the local network.
